Kyrie/Strickland (KS) Allstars AAU Basketball Program (8U, 9U, 10U, 11U)
Young Athletes is contracted to enroll 120 students in an out-of-school time program during the academic year. Programs are provided Monday – Friday from 2:30 – 6:00 pm, Saturdays from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm and on school vacations from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Students are required to attend a minimum of three days per week.
Young Athletes staff provides one hour of academic assistance Monday – Saturday for participants. Youth are mandated to complete this class daily prior to involvement in YAI recreational/enrichment activities.
During the summer months, YAI operates the Kyrie Irving/Rod Strickland Summer Basketball League servicing 450+ youth from the tri-state area. In addition, Young Athletes hosts the Straphangers Club, a summer travel program, five days per week for middle school youth.
